Previous PostInteresting chomp! I saw a post (can’t remember where) about chickpea seitan so I made my own version. The original used bulgar wheat, but I didn’t have any so used couscous with some vital wheat gluten. • Chickpeas • beet • vital wheat gluten • couscous • garlic powder • vegan butter Oven 350 for an hour, then cut and fry for serving. Pic is pre-flying. It’s really pretty good for something so basic. We just had some fried with cabbage and soy sauce in wraps with hot sauce 👍🏼 It would also be great for burgers. #vegan #seitan
