Uncategorized Interesting chomp! I saw a post (can’t remember where) about chickpea seitan so I made my own version. The original used bulgar wheat, but I didn’t have any so used couscous with some vital wheat gluten. • Chickpeas • beet • vital wheat gluten • couscous • garlic powder • vegan butter Oven 350 for an hour, then cut and fry for serving. Pic is pre-flying. It’s really pretty good for something so basic. We just had some fried with cabbage and soy sauce in wraps with hot sauce 👍🏼 It would also be great for burgers. #vegan #seitan

Uncategorized I fermented some bird’s eye chilis for a couple of weeks and made some Holy Shit Hot Sauce. This one is bright and citrusy, and medium hot. Fermenting (if you aren’t aware) in salt water brings a pickley tang, pleasant acidity and level of sanitation, so it won’t get moldy. Ingredients: Chilies White Vinegar Lime juice Lemon juice Salt A little garlic Turmeric Smoked paprika Cayenne pepper Blended well. Sieved & bottled. #hotsauce #vegan
